If you live in an apartment a great way to stay active is cooking. The key is to avoid sitting down as much as you possibly can. When you stand you burn more calories than when you sit. And when you’re cooking that’s exactly what you do. You stand and walk around the stove and the counter top. You cut the onions or any other vegetables, you’re frequently stirring, you take pans and pots on and off the burners etc.
All this activity is a great way to burn some calories. It is also fun and rewarding when you finished and show off to your family and friends.
Cleaning your apartment is another great way to stay active and burn some calories. Vacuuming, moping, dusting, wiping the windows and mirrors or any other method of cleaning is a great way to exercise and keep your place clean.
Why pay someone else to do it when you can do it yourself. This way you save some money, keep the apartment clean and stay in shape.
